Brian Jacoby, owner of the Tallahassee, Florida, comic shop Secret Headquarters and a well-known presence on Twitter and comics discussion boards, died suddenly on Thanksgiving. The news was first released in a tweet from the store. His memorial service will be held Tuesday.

Tallahassee comics and games retailer Brian Jacoby of Secret Headquarters passed away suddenly on Thursday night, the store announced on social media. Jacoby was a frequent commenter on a variety of forums, including Talk Backs on ICv2 . Jacoby opened Secret Headquarters in late 2006.
A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Culley Meadowwood Funeral Home, with a reception to follow.
