variety.com/2014/tv/news/george-eads-leaving-csi-after-25-seasons-1201364010/“CSI” fans should get ready to say goodbye to Nick Stokes. George Eads, who played the forensic investigator since “CSI’s” pilot, will leave the show after its current 15th season, sources have confirmed to Variety. Eads was one of the last remaining original cast members on “CSI.” Last year, the drama lost Paul Guilfoyle, who was also with the show since the beginning. If “CSI” gets renewed for a 16th season, which has not been announced yet, Jorja Fox will be left as the only remaining original cast member. According to TVGuide.com, which first reported the news, Eads’ exit will be tied to the Gig Harbor Killer case, though its unknown whether or not this means Stokes will die. The news comes after Eads clashed on set with a writer in 2013, leading him to take a leave of absence and miss several episodes. CBS declined to comment on the exit.
