There has not been an announcement made that he was no longer with the company, although there had been talk around wrestling for the last week that such a move was imminent. We will update with any further news on the subject.

Khali's contract expired this past week and the company opted not to renew it. As noted yesterday, this was not a surprise and there had been talk around wrestling for the past week or so that Khali was being let go.

Sources within WWE confirmed to F4WOnline.com and PWInsider.com on Friday that Dalip Singh Rana, who is known as the Great Khali, is no longer with the organization after his profile on WWE.com was transferred to the Alumni section on Thursday.
It was noted to both websites that the 42-year-old's contract expired this past week and company officials opted not to renew it.
Singh joined WWE in January 2006, becoming the first Indian professional wrestler to be signed to a contract by the organization. He debuted on the main roster that April alongside Daivari and would later have alliances with Ranjin Singh and Jinder Mahal. However, he spent most of his career as a singles competitor and in 2007 he became the World Heavyweight Champion by squashing Rey Mysterio.
In what will go down as his final match in WWE, Singh submitted to Rusev's Accolade at the Oct. 28 SmackDown taping.
