WWE Superstar Zack Ryder posted the following tweet on his official Twitter account earlier today, prompting certain websites to jump to conclusions and speculate about what it means.
Sorry to my European Zack Pack…won't be making the tour this year…I'll let you know why in a few days when I have definite news.

A few hours later, he tweeted this one, revealing that he was referring to an injury he suffered that may require surgery.

John Cena mentioned on tonight's WWE RAW that Zack Ryder is having surgery and will be out of action for 6 months. Cena blamed Ryder's injury on Rusev and The Authority after Ryder made a tweet about Team Cena. We noted before that Ryder revealed that he may have tore his rotator cuff and would possibly need surgery. The injury caused Ryder to miss the current European tour.
Ryder's last match was against Rusev on last week's RAW.

Zack Ryder posted a video updating his injury status. On the 10th, he went for a shoulder MRI and found out he had a full thickness tear in his rotator cuff. He wanted to avoid surgery, so he got a stem cell injection the next day where they took bone marrow from his hip and injected it into his shoulder.
He will rest and rehab for 6-8 weeks. If it doesn't get better, then he will have to do the surgery. He hopes to find out by the end of the year.
He said he can't wait to return and do what he does best which is "fist pump faces". Then added "I can't even keep a straight face when I say that".
