ABC’s ‘Marvel’s Agent Carter,’ ‘Galavant’ Get Premiere Dates
ABC on Wednesday unveiled some more of its winter schedule plans, including the premiere of “Marvel’s Agent Carter” and the return dates for some of its drama biggies.
First up, on Sunday, Jan. 4, is the premiere of musical fairytale comedy “Galavant,” which will air back-to-back episodes in the 8 o’clock hour usually occupied by “Once Upon a Time.” It will continue to air in hourlong blocks until the return of “Once” on March 1 (one week after the Oscars).
Like “Once Upon a Time,” “Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD” will be taking a winter break and return in early March (March 3) with all-new episodes. Starting Jan. 6, “Marvel’s Agent Carter,” inspired by Marvel’s “Captain America” films, will run in “SHIELD’s” 9 o’clock hour on Tuesdays.
“TGIT” dramas “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Scandal” and “How to Get Away With Murder” will return from their winter break on Jan. 29. The trio will air for the final time this year on Nov. 20.
ABC last week had announced start dates for “The Taste” (Dec. 4), “The Great Christmas Light Flight” (Dec. 8) and “The Bachelor” (Jan. 5).
