Les Thatcher sent along the sad news that his former tag team partner and "cousin" Dennis Hall passed away over the weekend following a stroke. He had been hospitalized for a few weeks following another stroke.
Hall worked for a number of territories in the 1960s and 70s and was part of a group of "wrestling cousins" including Les and Roger Kirby, who he was related to via marriage.
Over the course of his career, he held a number of Tag Team championships, including belts in the Gulf Coast, Memphis and Mid-America territories. He also worked under a mask in Florida as Taurus, teaming with Bob Orton Sr., who was working under a mask himself as Zodiak.
Beyond his team with Les and Kirby, Hall also worked regularly as a team with Ken Lucas, specifically in the Tennessee territory.
Hall was cremated and his ashes were taken to the Hall cemetery near Anderson, Indiana.
About Hall, Les wrote he was "One of the finest human beings I know" and that "if you knew him, you loved him."
Our deepest condolences to Hall's family and friends during this sad time.
