variety.com/2014/news/awesomenesstv-channel-launches-on-roku-1201287909/AwesomenessTV is now available as a channel on TV. The youth-oriented video network owned by DreamWorks Animation rolled out an app for Roku’s set-tops and other devices — a move that brings the YouTube multichannel network’s content to the biggest screen in the house. The AwesomenessTV app on Roku includes the MCN’s videos about beauty, advice for teens, daily celeb gossip, teen pop stars, performance sports, sketches and pranks, and other shows. DWA acquired AwesomenessTV last year in a deal worth up to $117 million. The AwesomenessTV app for Roku was developed by Cupertino, Calif.-based 1 Mainstream.
