variety.com/2014/tv/news/lifetimes-flowers-in-the-attic-sequel-to-premiere-memorial-day-1201151102/Following the success of its TV adaptation of V.C. Andrews’ ”Flowers in the Attic,” Lifetime will debut its sequel, ”Petals on the Wind” this Memorial Day. Heather Graham, Ellen Burstyn and Dylan Bruce will all reprise their roles in the adaptation of the second installment of the book series. The film takes place 10 years after the Dollanganger siblings have escaped the attic where their mother Corrine (Graham) and grandmother Olivia (Burstyn) kept them locked away for more than two years. “Petals on the Wind” continues the twisted plight of the family as they attempt to put their sordid past behind them — only to discover that certain secrets can’t stay hidden. Lifetime is also in development on Andrews books “If There Be Thorns,” “Seeds of Yesterday” and “My Sweet Audrina.” “Petals on the Wind” is produced by A+E Studios in association with Silver Screen Pictures for Lifetime.
