That slate no longer includes "Inhumans," however, which was removed from Disney's schedule back in April and not given a new date. As Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige revealed in a chat on the Empire podcast, the film hasn't been outright canceled. "The only situation right now is that it's not going to be part of Phase Three, because Phase Three increased in a very good way since we originally announced it," said Feige, referring to the late additions of "Spider-Man: Homecoming" and "Ant-Man & the Wasp" to the slate. These additions pushed "Inhumans" from a November 2018 release date to July 2019. But just because the film isn't part of Phase Three doesn't mean it won't bea part of future phases. "When and where and how it pops up remains to be seen, but it's characters we love, it's a storyline we love and we just didn't want to cram it into an already quite full Phase Three," said Feige. The Inhumans currently play a role in ABC's "Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." television series. The next film in Marvel's Phase Three is "Doctor Strange," which opens on November 4.
