The story revolves around two ordinary kids who discover a secret clubhouse for explorers. They set out to reunite and perhaps rescue a group of famous adventure-seekers named the Filipendulous Five. Kress has also written “Alex and the Ironic Gentleman” and “Timothy and the Dragon’s Gate.” De Luca’s producing credits include “The Social Network,” “Captain Phillips,” “Moneyball,” “Fifty Shades of Grey” and the upcoming Tom Hanks thriller “Inferno.” The news was first reported by the Tracking Board.
