www.wrestlinginc.com/wi/news/2015/0602/595903/former-tna-world-heavyweight-champion-turns-down-hall-of-fame/Source: PWInsider Elite There's been no word yet if TNA will have a Hall of Fame induction ceremony at Slammiversary this year but they wanted former World Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles to come in and accept an induction. TNA reportedly pitched the idea to AJ one or two months ago but he turned them down. TNA offered Styles a great deal to come in, do the Hall of Fame, likely wrestle one match on Slammiversary and that that would be it. AJ, the current IWGP Heavyweight Champion, turned the deal down because his priorities right now are Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling.

We noted before that former TNA World Heavyweight Champion and current IWGP Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles turned down a significant deal to enter the TNA Hall of Fame and wrestle a match at this month's Slammiversary pay-per-view because his priorities are with Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling right now.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter notes that a multi-date deal was discussed several months ago, which would have saw Styles wrestle at the Slammiversary and Bound For Glory pay-per-views, plus the Hall of Fame induction.
