The Weinstein Company looks ready to revive plans for a Sin City TV program, according to remarks made by Harvey Weinstein in a recent New York Times interview. Weinstein said he wished to quickly capitalize on the August release of the second movie, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, directed by Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez, with a Sin City TV adaptation, also from Miller and Rodriguez. This is the first mention of plans for the TV adaptation since 2005, when brothers Harvey and Bob first formed the Weinstein Company.
