This marks Lifetime’s first foray into scripted content nonlinear distribution. The platform will launch eight series each consisting of eight six-minute episodes told from a woman’s perspective in close-camera form. “The romance-fiction world is increasingly going digital,” said Rob Sharenow, exec VP and general manager of Lifetime. “By introducing ‘Fall Into Me,’ we are giving the genre’s loyal community of fans a fresh take on short stories of passion and seduction they can watch at their leisure or on the go and share among their social circles within the digital space.” Guy Shalem (“Lovespring International,” “Betty White’s Off their Rockers”) created the concept and will work with a team of storytellers to create each series. Produced by Propagate Content, the “Fall Into Me” projects will be exec produced by Shalem, Howard T. Owens and David McKillop.
