spinoff.comicbookresources.com/2015/03/25/bruce-campbell-will-play-ronald-reagan-on-fargo/Fan-favorite actor Bruce Campbell has been cast as Ronald Reagan on FX’s acclaimed anthology series “Fargo,” TVLine reports. The cable channel first teased in January that the second season, set in the 1970s, would feature Reagan interacting with the show’s characters in his first campaign for president. The role marks a reunion between Campbell and his “Burn Notice” co-star Jeffrey Donovan, who’ll play the cruel Dodd Gerhardt, who’s eager to inherit the family business after his crime-boss father (Michael Hogan) suffers a debilitating stroke. It’s unknown whether Campbell and Donovan will actually share screen time. Campbell is preparing to shoot “Ash Vs. Evil Dead,” the 10-episode Starz series that sees him reprise the role of Ash Williams. Targeted for a fall premiere, the second season of “Fargo” centers on the mysterious Sioux Falls incident mentioned in the Season 1 by Lou Solverson, the former Minnesota state patrolman played by Keith Carradine. Patrick Wilson, Ted Danson and Jean Smartheadline the ensemble cast.
