Chris Pratt is in very early talks for Jurassic World, the 3D sequel that Universal will release June 12, 2015. The actor would play the role Josh Brolin was being eyed for last month. Colin Trevorrow is directing the pic, and he co-wrote the latest draft with Derek Connolly. Steven Spielberg is producing the film with Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley. Pratt next appears in the Vince Vaughn starrer Delivery Man , which opens next weekend. He has a voice role in The Lego Movie and also will star in Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy. Recent film credits include Zero Dark Thirty and The Five-Year Engagement. Pratt also stars on NBC’s Parks And Recreation. He is repped by CAA and Mosaic. Attachments:

D’Onofrio will play the bad guy in the pic that Bryce Dallas Howard and Chris Pratt are also attached to star in. D’Onofrio, repped by UTA, Silver Lining Entertainment and attorney Ken Richman, recently wrapped The Judge opposite Robert Downey Jr. and Robert Duvall. He will next be seen in Pelé as the coach and in Run All Night starring opposite Liam Neeson. Khan’s role remains under wraps, but his credits include Life Of Pi and The Amazing Spider-Man as well as last year’s Cannes success The Lunchbox. He is repped by Gersh and Brillstein Entertainment Partners. Colin Trevorrow is directing Jurassic World from a screenplay he wrote with Derek Connolly. Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are producing, and it is set for a 3D release June 12, 2015.

Sy is joining the cast of Universal franchise reboot Jurassic World. He tweeted this morning, both in French and in English, that he was a “fan of this saga from the beginning” and is “very proud to be part of the cast for Jurassic World.” The 3D pic is helmed by Colin Trevorrow, who also tweeted (in French) that he was “very happy to welcome” the actor. Sy’s French agent confirmed the casting, although details of his role have yet to be divulged. Jurassic World stars Chris Pratt, Idris Elba, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio, Jake Johnson and Irrfan Khan. Trevorrow wrote the screenplay with Derek Connolly. Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are producing. It’s set for release on June 12, 2015. Sy is next up in X Men: Days Of Future Past and is lined up for Stephen Gaghan’s Candy Store. He’ll be seen in the fall in Intouchables directors Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache’s French-language Samba which Gaumont releases locally on October 22.
