It stars Nathalie Soderqvist in the title role, opposite Klas Ekegren. The movie has sold worldwide and played at the First Time Film Festival in the U.S. as well as the Scandinavian Film Festival. “Staying true to our slogan ‘Think Independently,’ ‘Miss Julie’ has all of the elements we look for in a film,” said Benjamin Oberman, Film Festival Flix prexy and CEO. “I am proud to support Mikael and his vision, and look forward to bringing this timeless classic to American audiences through our many platforms.” Berg previously worked with Soderqvist and Ekegren on his 19th-century short “Amalia.” Film Festival Flix will open “Miss Julie” later this year. Another adaptation of “Miss Julie” directed by Liv Ullmann was released in December. It stars Jessica Chastain and Colin Farrell.
