SPIDER-MAN
Forget about seeing Spider-Ham in a Sony feature film! Business Insider has come across a spreadsheet that highlights which characters Sony has claimed the rights to and which ones they've... politely declined.
Among the rejects are the Spider-Man costume that consists of a Fantastic Four uniform and a paper bag, Xandu the Unspeakable, Thermo the Thermatronic Man aka The Street Stalker, Tordenkakerlakk aka the Thunder Cockroach and Hypno-Hustler. Sony flat-out said "we don't care about this character" in reference to the Black Abbot; the studio was kind of offended by 007 parody character Agent 003. When it came to Mother Inferior, an obese woman with an army of rats and cockroaches, Sony "recommended letting this one go."
The most notable character included in the "do not want" list is Spider-Ham, a character that fans have speculated could hold down an animated feature film. Spider-Ham is listed as "frozen" in the spreadsheet, indicating that Sony -- and possibly Marvel as well -- has no interest in using the character.
