The pic is a U.S.-German co-production based on a script written by the Coen Brothers. The action centers on the first spy exchange between the U.S. and the Soviet Union. As well as Hanks, the cast includes Mark Rylance, Sebastian Koch and Amy Ryan. The film is set in New York and Berlin. The shoot in Wroclaw is supported by the Wroclaw Film Commission. Rafal Bubnicki from the Wroclaw Film Commission told Film New Europe that the shoot in New York had wrapped and the crew was now shooting in Berlin and Potsdam, Germany. The Wroclaw shoot will take place in the second half of November, with the city representing Berlin at the end of 1950s and early 60s, said Bubnicki. Marc Platt and Kristie Macosko Krieger are producing with Spielberg for DreamWorks and Disney. The premiere is planned for October 2015.
