newsle.com/article/0/163935559/WWE INTERESTED IN ACQUIRING MORE CANADIAN VIDEO LIBRARIES? WWE issued a survey to Canadian fans on their interest in the WWE Network launching in Canada as well as what their level of interest in different types of potential programming would be. The most interesting question posed was regarding different Canadian wrestling promotions, asking if fans would be interested in seeing footage from the different libraries. The promotions listed were: *Stampede Wrestling (Calgary, Alberta): 1948-1989 *Grand Prix Wrestling (Montreal, Quebec): 1971-1975 *Border City Wrestling (Windsor, Ontario): 1993-Present *ASW - All Star Wrestling (Montreal, Quebec): 1967-1975 *Northern Championship Wrestling (Montreal, Quebec): 1986 - Present *Atlantic Grand Prix Wrestling: (Moncton, New Brunswick) 1960s-1986 *NWA All Star Wrestling (Vancouver, British Columbia): 1960s-1989 *ECCW - Elite Canadian Championship Wrestling (Vancouver, BC): 1996-Present *Maximum Pro Wrestling (Windsor and Toronto, Ontario): 2010-Present WWE already owns the Stampede Wrestling library, minus the matches featuring Bret Hart. Hart acquired the rights to those matches and if and when WWE wishes to use them, they have to license that material from Hart. At least portions of the Grand Prix wrestling library was acquired earlier this year by former TNA personality Scott D'Amore, who owns Border City Wrestling, which is also listed in the poll. Thanks to C.K.P. for his help
