---Championship Wrestling from Hollywood announced today that Matt Striker has joined their announcing team and will debut at their 8/11 TV Taping, which will also kick off their fourth season of TV. The promotion's press release reads:

---New Japan Pro Wrestling star Gedo has been added to the "NWA Invasion" events in the U.S. in October, the NWA announced Monday night. Gedo is the associate of IWGP World Hvt. champion Kazuchika Okada.
The events are scheduled for October 18 and 19 in Houston and San Antonio, respectively, promoted by NWA Houston and NWA Branded Outlaw Wrestling.
In addition to Gedo, junior heavyweight wrestler Takaaki Watanabe has been added to the New Japan roster coming to the U.S. this fall. Already announced are the IWGP Tag Team champions Satoshi Kojima & Hiroyoshi Tenzan.
Matches and the venues in Houston and San Antonio will be announced at a later time.

---The Great Muta met with Jeff Jarrett and TNA's Andy Barton about the idea of TNA sending talent to his new promotion Wrestle 1. Longtime Japanese photographer Jimmy Suzuki was also at the meeting.
One would assume that this would lead to talent coming Stateside as well, but nothing has been officially confirmed.There should be an official announcement coming, but probably not anything in the next few days.
---Recently released TNA star Matt Morgan is scheduled to appear at Squared Circle Live's Vendetta on Sunday, August 25th at the Class Act Dinner Theatre in Whitby, ON.

---There was a scary moment at today's WWE live event in Cape Town, South Africa, as Randy Orton was attacked by a fan following his match against Big E Langston, according to multiple eye-witnesses via Twitter, and PWInsider.com.
"Fan just attacked @randyorton! Wtf! #WWECapeTown#WWECapeTown (night 1) @wwe," wrote a Twitter user by the name of Richard Kruse.
According to at least three more accounts, the fan leveled Orton in the groin (via low blow).
"Whoever low blowed @randyorton tonight is real scum! Sorry Randy, please don't let it affect your view of the people here in SA #WWECapeTown," wrote a user.
Orton did not retaliate against the fan, but threw the middle finger as he was being dragged out of the ring by arena personnel.
According to another user on the website, some fans who purchased tickets to the event included a meet-and-greet with various WWE Superstars following the event. However, due to the incident, it did not take place.
A user complained to the official Twitter account of GrandWest Casino and Entertainment World, the company that hosted the event, with the following: "@grandwestsa your security sucks! And I feel cheated out of my R600 I payed to interact with wwe superstars."
