Kevin Von Erich, who was just announced for TNA Slammiversary today, has written a screenplay about his Hall of Fame family and is currently working to launch it as a feature film. We noted before that ESPN's 30 for 30 interviewed the Von Erichs several months ago and word now is that special will air within the next month.

TNA announced Ross & Marshall Von Erich, the two sons of Kevin Von Erich, will debut with the group at Slammiversary on 6/15 in Arlington, TX. It's Father's Day, so Kevin will be at the show. The brothers have worked in the past for Pro Wrestling NOAH and were trained by Harley Race. Ross Adkisson when he was younger looked like Kerry and was a very good high school football player.

TNA's French announce team, Célian Varini and Gregory Deas, will be at ringside for this Sunday's Slammiversary pay-per-view from Texas. The show will air live at 2am in France.
- It appears The Menagerie will be in action at next Sunday's TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view Dallas, even though they haven't been announced yet. TNA's press release on The Von Erich Family last week mentioned that Rebel (Tanea Brooks) would be there. As we've noted before, Rebel is a former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader.

TNA has added a ladder match to Sunday's PPV with the X Division title at stake. Seiya Sanada will defend against Manik, Tigre Uno, Crazy Steve, Eddie Edwards and Davey Richards. I don't know if those involved in this match even knew that before today. MVP did an interview on Chris Jericho's podcast where he said he's put off having an MRI done. He said he was going to try and work the PPV match on 6/15, against Eric Young, but he may not be able to.

TNA announced that Dallas Cowboys defensive end George Selvie and some of his teammates will be sitting at ringside for Sunday's Slammiversary pay-per-view.
We noted before that the main reason for bringing Kevin Von Erich and his sons Ross & Marshall to Sunday's TNA Slammiversary pay-per-view was to boost ticket sales since the Von Erich name was always a big draw in Dallas. Word is that there really was a jump in ticket sales when they were announced. As noted before, it's a one-time deal for Ross & Marshall.

The new main event for Sunday's Slammiversary show will be Eric Young defending the title in a three-way cage match.
Young's opponents will be the winners of the matches earlier in the show with Austin Aries vs. Kenny King and Samoa Joe vs. Bobby Lashley.
Young vs. MVP was the main event but MVP suffered a knee injury while wrestling in England and TNA kept quiet about having to change the main event until after the final TV aired because the final show built up Young vs. MVP.

There's been talk among the wrestlers within TNA that if MVP was unable to compete at Sunday's Slammiversary pay-per-view then World Heavyweight Champion Eric Young may defend against Bobby Lashley. As noted earlier, it was confirmed today that MVP will not be able to compete. It was noted that the next TNA pay-per-view isn't until Bound For Glory in October and MVP could continue his role on TV, if he has to have surgery, doing a heel wheelchair gimmick if needed.
