By Mike Johnson on 2017-10-20 14:23:00
Power Uti, the African wrestling star and promoter who was made infamous with Mick Foley's account of him in his first autobiography Have A Nice Day! and an infamous wrestling tour several years ago that saw Cliff Compton and Luke Gallows trapped in Nigeria, was arrested following the passing of his wife, according to local newspaper Punch.
According to the article, Uti's wife of ten years Toyin passed away this past Monday but instead of seeking medical help or contacting a hospital, he instead went to a church for "spiritual assistance." Uti was arrested and is currently in custody. The article is unclear in whether he is being charged with her death or is in trouble for not assisting her medically before she passed away.
The family's children are in the care of Toyin's mother.
