DISNEY Mandated ABC Renew AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. - Report
The Walt Disney Company ordered ABC to renew Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for a fifth season, according to Variety. Network executives reportedly wanted to end the series in the spring, but ended up renewing it on May 12.
The renewed fifth season, however, has been shifted from its standard Tuesday evening time slot to Fridays as a midseason replacement following the airing of Inhumans.
