The stars of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Making History, respectively, will also produce the film with Petra Ahmann. Dan Gregor will direct from a script he co-wrote with Doug Mand, his writing partner on Crazy Ex-Girlfriend. Mand, who will also appear in the film, is an executive producer with Gregor. Lionsgate acquired the title through Lionsgate Digital Studio, which aims to produce low-budget features and episodic series. Production is scheduled to begin next month in New York.
