The streaming service has also landed exclusive rights to ABC's 'Black-ish.' Hulu has landed streaming rights to the Golden Girls.
"This marks the first time that the complete library of one of the most popular sitcoms will be available to stream all in one place — on Hulu," Hulu senior vp and head of content Craig Erwich said in making the announcement Saturday at the Television Critics Association's winter press tour.
Golden Girls episodes will be available to stream to Hulu subscribers starting Feb. 13 — a date that Erwich reminded critics was "Galentine's Day."
The Touchstone/Buena Vista-produced series comes as Hulu has renewed its deal with Disney. The pact also will see ABC Studios-produced dramas Body of Proof, Desperate Housewives and Private Practice come to the streaming service.
Golden Girls joins a Hulu library that also includes the entire library of Seinfeld.
Hulu also announced that it has landed exclusive streaming rights to ABC's Black-ish, bringing the first two seasons to the platform that is already home to current episodes of the Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated comedy.
