variety.com/2016/film/news/amy-pascal-entertainment-360-mariah-blake-teflon-1201716130/Amy Pascal and Entertainment 360 Acquire Mariah Blake’s Book ‘Teflon’ Amy Pascal and Entertainment 360 have acquired the film rights to Mariah Blake’s book “Teflon” and set Vanessa Taylor to pen the script, sources confirm to Variety. Pascal and Entertainment 360 have also acquired rights to the the Huffington Post article “Welcome to Beautiful Parkersburg, West Virginia: Home of the Largest Cover-up in Corporate History” and the MotherJones.com expose “The Scary New Evidence on BPA-Free Plastics,” both written by Blake, to be used as material for the project. Rachel O’Connor will produce with Pascal for Pascal Pictures. The film centers on how the plastics industry covered up the toxic side-effects of common household items. The rights to the book were repped by ICM Partners, which also reps Taylor. Pascal continues to remain very aggressive on the book scene with “Maestra,” “Little Women” and “Control Alt Delete” all in development at her production banner. This will also mark the second production that pairs her with Entertainment 360, which is co-producing “Control Alt Delete” with her based on the Zoe Quinn memoir. Taylor comes from the “Game of Thrones” team, where she served as a co-exec producer. Besides ICM Partners, she is also repped by Management 360. The news was first reported by Deadline Hollywood.
