Hours after it picked up the bullying documentary Audrie & Daisy, the streaming service is closing in on a deal for Brahman Naman at the Sundance Film Festival. Set in 1980s India, it stars Shashank Arora as a sexed-up nerd who leads a college quiz team. He and his mates take a lusty, inebriated train trip across the country with the goal of shaking off that nagging virginity. The pic had its world premiere Sunday in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition. It also screens Friday and Saturday.
