Joining such previously announced films as Michael Moore’s Where To Invade Next, is Pernilla August’s A Serious Game. The adaptation of Hjalmar Söderberg’s classic romantic novel is based on a screenplay written by Oscar- and BAFTA-nominated director Lone Scherfig. An epic love story set in turn-of-the-20th-century Stockholm, the cast includes The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo‘s Michael Nyqvist, and Mikkel Boe Folsgaard who won the Best Actor Silver Bear for A Royal Affair in 2012 and also starred the August-helmed TV drama The Legacy. TrustNordisk has international sales. Also joining the non-competitive section is Terence Davies’ Emily Dickinson biography A Quiet Passion starring Cynthia Nixon, Jennifer Ehle and Keith Carradine; and Don Cheadle’s directing debut Miles Ahead in which he plays Miles Davis. Ewan McGregor and Michael Stuhlbarg also star. Berlin kicks off on February 11.
