The Senator name will remain as a production brand. The decision was made at a shareholders meeting, which also approved the nomination of three new board members: Hans Mahr, chairman of MahrMedia and former member of the Premiere AG and RTL Group Managements; Pierre Tattevin, partner at Lazard; and Benjamin Waisbren, partner at Winston Strawn law firm and prexy of LSC Film. The board already comprises Katja Nettesheim, Tarek Malak and Wolf-D. Gramatke, who is the chairman. The company’s rebranding as Wild Bunch AG underscores the shareholders’ aim to forge a strong international group and play a major role in the European film industry, striving to generate profitable growth in the years to come. As part of its merger with Wild bunch in February, Senator also closed a capital increase from Wild Bunch’s 55.8 million new shares. The new entity is headed by Vincent Grimond, CEO'; Vincent Maraval, CCO; and Brahim Chioua, COO; and Max Sturm, CFO. Wild Bunch AG is active in five European markets (Germany, France, Italy, Spain and U.K.), handles international sales and manages a library of around 2,200 films.
