Opening last weekend, “Age of Ultron” debuted to a stellar $201.2 million across 44 foreign territories. It adds Mexico and Spain on Thursday along with several other markets. The sequel opens in the U.S. on Friday amid expectations that it can top the first “Avengers” film’s record-breaking $207.4 million domestic bow in 2012. The movie went on to earn over $1.5 billion globally. Directed by Joss Whedon, “Avengers: Age of Ultron” carries a $250 million pricetag. Despite currency fluctuations, the second film has been exceeding the first installment by 44% in today’s dollars. Robert Downey Jr. stars in the film alongside Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Chris Hemsworth and Mark Ruffalo.
