The Curb screen, measuring 18 meters by 6 meters, is offering screen time in increments as short as 30 seconds for 50 pounds. Showing a Twitter handle and an image will cost 20 pounds while primetime spots will go for 1,000 pounds. The promotion launched Tuesday on Kickstarter. The screen can be seen for three square miles including on the super yachts in the bay used by Hollywood actors, directors and industry leaders. “Cannes is the biggest film festival in the world, and we wanted to give the whole world the ability to feature at Cannes,” said Co-CEO Anthony Ganjou. “We want to give everyone the opportunity to show his or her creative integrity to the biggest names in Hollywood. Whether that be showing off your CV to the industry leaders, exhibiting your independent film trailer or asking your partner to marry you, One Minute in Cannes gives you a voice where you would normally not be heard.” Curb Media will use social media such as YouTube as a content collection system to publish content programmatically.
