A fund raiser is taking place for a memorial wall to cover the history of Tampa wrestling at the Fort Homer Hesterly Armory, which ran shows every Tuesday night during the heyday of Florida wrestling. The JCC purchased the building a few years ago and approached Jody Malenko to see if they could secure information on his father, as one of the star Jewish wrestlers of the modern era. That led to the idea that there should be a place in the building to commemorate the rich history of wrestling. For more info go to www.gofundme.com/wrestlingtampa
