variety.com/2015/film/news/radiant-films-john-short-voltage-1201467788/In a pre-Cannes move, Radiant Films International has hired veteran sales executive John Short as senior VP. Short, who had been VP of sales at Nic Chartier’s Voltage, will work with president-CEO Mimi Steinbauer to handle international sales. As part of the company’s expanding operations into feature film co-productions and co-financing, Short will also build on relationships in China and other burgeoning Asian markets to establish co-production and film finance opportunities. While at Voltage, Short worked on “Dallas Buyers Club,” “Fathers and Daughters,” “Good Kill” and Eli Roth’s “Knock Knock.” Prior to Voltage, Short was VP of international sales at Hyde Park Entertainment. Radiant’s slate includes “The Driftless Area,” starring Anton Yelchin and Zooey Deschanel; “Hungry Hearts,” starring Adam Driver and Alba Rohrwacher; and “Whatever Makes You Happy,” starring Susan Sarandon and Allison Janney.
