deadline.com/2015/03/bosch-second-season-amazon-prime-michael-connelly-1201394477/There is going to be more of the L.A. detective streaming online. Amazon Studios today announced they are bringing Bosch back for a second season. “We’re delighted to see that Amazon customers have immediately embraced Bosch,” said Roy Price, VP Amazon Studios Wednesday of the 1-hour drama based on Michael Connelly’s best selling novels. “Fans will soon be able to enjoy more of this inspired adaptation brought to life by a remarkably gifted cast. “I am very excited about continuing the Bosch story with season two,” said Connelly of the series that debuted on February 13. “I love what we started with and I think our plans for the second season will make the show even better and more exploratory of the character of Harry Bosch. We have a great cast and crew and we are all going to be one year better at this. I can’t wait.” Developed for Amazon by Wire EP Eric Overmyer, the series chronicles the investigations and personal and professional scraps of Harry Bosch, played by Titus Welliver. With Connelly’s 19 Bosch books having sold more than 50 million copies since the first one was published in 1992, it is no wonder that the drama set debut records for Amazon Prime with the biggest premiere weekend of all the Amazon Original series and the most watched titled on Prime Instant Video, according to Amazon.
