deadline.com/2015/03/dodgers-radio-station-deal-570-la-sports-1201393409/It’s Opening Day For Dodgers & iHeartMedia’s Branded Sports Radio Station The Los Angeles Dodgers have been struggling not in the standings these days but in getting its spendy now-3-year-old Time Warner Cable sports channels picked up by rival cable and satellite operators on their basic tiers. On the radio side, however, there are no such problems: Today the team unveiled details of its deal with iHeartMedia to relauch its radio home, KLAC-AM 570, as AM 570 LA Sports. The two sides said back in September when the Dodgers signed on with the Fox Sports-branded KLAC to be the team’s radio station that an equity stake was part of the agreement. As of today on-air talent was tub-thumping the details that are now a go including a new logo and incorporating the new 2015 Dodgers slogan “We Love LA!” The current lineup mostly remains intact: Dan Patrick from 6-9 AM, followed by the newly created LA Today with Bill Reiter and Leann Tweeden from 9-noon, Jay Mohr from noon-3 PM and the Petros And Money Show from 3-7 PM. The other new addition, Dodger Talk featuring David Vassegh and Kevin Kennedy, will air immediately following Dodgers games or weekdays at 7 PM. The Dodgers open the 2015 season April 6 at home with Vin Scully back for his 66th season. The AM 570 signal covers all five counties in and around LA includes 22 stations across the state and country.
