www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=59250With "Deadpool" exactly one year away from hitting theaters, leading man Ryan Reynolds took to Twitter to give fans a little something to help hold them over. The actor tweeted a sepia-tinted picture of himself with a few pieces of what could end up being his Deadpool duds. According to Reynolds' caption, the mask seen in the foreground of the TwitPic is merely a prototype for what he will wear in the film -- but it's a pretty comic-accurate prototype. You can check out the tweet and picture below. Reynolds will return to the role of Wade Wilson following his debut as the character -- or at least a version of the character -- in 2009's "X-Men Origins: Wolverine." While that iteration of Deadpool strayed very, very far from the source material, this prototype mask and the previously leaked test footage implies that Reynolds' next outing as the Merc with a Mouth will stay closer to the comics. As production ramps up on the project, a number of other actors are rumored to be in the running to join the cast. T.J. Miller and Ed Skrein are in consideration for mystery roles and a number of actresses -- including Morena Baccarin and Taylor Schilling -- are reportedly up for the female lead. "Deadpool" arrives in theaters on February 12, 2016. s1029.photobucket.com/user/Simonlove69/media/B9pqctXIUAA3Jko_zps1e38e623.jpg.html
