Period erotic title “Empire of Lust” was pre-bought by Cai Chang for Taiwan. Action drama “Veteran,” directed by Ryo Seung-wan, was pre-bought by Precious Media for Taiwan and by Sky Media for airlines. The new sales deals are in addition to previously announced sales on “Ode to My Father,” which plays in Berlin’s Panorama section, and this weekend became the second most watched Korean movie of all time with more than 13 million tickets sold, overtaking “The Host.” “Ode” was sold to Intercontinental for Hong Kong, M Pictures for Thailand, MM2 for Singapore, Malaysia and Brunei, Dreamwest for Australia and New Zealand, Bloomsbury for Mongolia, Medyavizyon for Turkey, Emphasis for airlines and MATV for pan-Asian TV.
