variety.com/2015/film/news/berlin-doug-aitkens-station-to-station-sells-in-key-markets-1201422872/Submarine Entertainment has sold distribution rights for Doug Aitken’s performance film “Station to Station” to more than half a dozen international markets following its world premiere at Sundance. Deals have been closed with Films We Like label in Canada; Madman Entertainment in Australia and New Zealand; Dogwoof in the U.K. and Ireland; NonStop Entertainment in Scandinavia; and Feltrinelli in Italy. The deals were negotiated by David Koh and Dan Braun of Submarine and WME on behalf of the filmmakers. Submarine will be representing the film at the Berlin Film Market. “Station to Station” is composed of 60 individual one-minute films featuring different artists, musicians, places and perspectives — shot over 24 days as the production traveled from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Producers are Chris Totushek and Alex Waite. The movie includes Cold Cave, Jackson Browne, Mavis Staples, Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, Thurston Moore, Patti Smith, Olafur Eliasson, Urs Fischer, Christian Jankowski, Ernesto Neto, Dan Deacon, Gary Indiana, William Eggleston, Ed Ruscha, Beck, Cat Power, Giorgio Moroder, Paolo Soleri, Stephen Shore, Suicide and Savages.
