Pic won the Best Debut Prize at Sundance in 1994, but not a lot of people have seen it and it is in rough shape. They’re trying to raise $20,000 for the effort. Oscilloscope will team with Sundance Collection at UCLA to restore it in high quality digital 2k for release on digital platforms and on DVD and festivals. I’m forever skeptical about crowd funding used in for-profit features because I think donors get screwed. But keeping a worthy film from disappearing into oblivion by clicking this link, that sounds like something worthy.
