The release will begin on February 20 with a 20-city release. Cities where the film will screen include New York, Boston, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, and Seattle. Other cities may be added. The film will be shown in Japanese with English subtitles. Attendees will receive a limited Naruto film poster while supplies last. In the film, the moon is approaching the Earth and may disintegrate, sending dangerous meteorites, as Naruto tries to save the planet. This is not the first Naruto film to receive a theatrical release in the U.S.

However, just eight locations — New York, Boston, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Seattle and Houston — have been revealed. The 10th overall Naruto film is set two years after the events of the Great Ninja War, as the moon heads toward Earth. “Earth’s days are numbered and Naruto will have to tap every bit of his ninjutsu skills and knowledge to save the planet and defeat his enemies in this amazing and highly anticipated addition to the NARUTO saga,” Charlene Ingram, Viz Media senior marketing manager, said in a statement.
