www.hollywoodreporter.com/news/sony-hackers-release-eighth-batch-757534Hackers have released yet another round of leaked Sony Pictures files. A hacker claiming to be a member of group Guardians of Peace, which has taken credit for the Nov. 24 cyberattack on the studio, emailed journalists Sunday with the eighth batch of data. The new leak included an email box belonging to Sony Pictures Releasing International president Steven O'Dell. The box was labeled "spodell" and contained email relating to the international release strategy for the forthcoming Seth Rogen-James Franco comedy The Interview, which Guardians of Peace has asked Sony to pull. Also in the email was a message stating that the group is preparing a "Christmas gift," which will consist of "larger quantities of data." The same message was included with the files sent Saturday. Hackers have previously leaked numerous financial details about Sony films, along with emails from the studio's execs. The emails have included jokes about President Obama's supposed taste in movies and insults about such stars as Angelina Jolie and Leonardo DiCaprio.
