www.icv2.com/articles/news/30234.htmlArrow star Stephen Amell took exception to last month’s announcement of the new slate of DC Comics-based movies from Warner Bros. on the day after the new CW Flash TV series posted excellent ratings for its second episode. Amell was upset that Warners announced a 2018 Flash movie that will star Ezra Miller (Perks of Being a Wallflower, Royal Pains) and not Grant Gustin, who stars in the Flash TV series that debuted with a splash this fall on the CW network . According to Mashable, Amell told AMC’s Movie Talk, “I thought that the way Warner Bros. announced the slate of DC movies could have been handled better. I think someone like Grant Gustin, who has just launched an iconic character like Flash, to record breaking numbers ... should have been given a wider berth than two episodes before another actor was announced to play his character. I thought it was shitty that all of this stuff got announced the morning that the ratings — the spectacular ratings — of the second episode of the Flash came in.”
