The toys-come-to-life tale, to be released next week by Little Brown and Co., is authored by parents Refe and Susan Tuma. The two began creating scenes each November for their children about the “secret lives” of their plastic dinosaur toys. Similar to “Toy Story,” the toys wound up wrecking bathrooms, destroying vases and even doing the dishes. Rosenfelt, whose has a first-look deal at Fox 2000, has credits on “Marley and Me,” the last three “Twilight” films and the two “Percy Jackson” movies.
