As noted yesterday, The Street has an article about WWE starting to run ads on the WWE Network. The article contains a short interview with WWE Chief Marketing Officer Michelle Wilson, who revealed that the ad revenue they will generate was not included in revenue projections for the Network. She was also asked why the company is running ads as opposed to raising the subscription price. "For $9.99 per month, WWE Network is an extraordinary value proposition, which includes all 12 pay-per-views live, and we have no plans to change that or raise the price," Wilson replied.
