He was 90. Braunstein was known as “Jerry” among his family, friends and clients, including comedian Don Rickles. He first entered the industry in the 1950s when he opened a business management firm. In 1978, he moved his practice out west, opening Braunstein Company in Century City. He ran the business for 25 years. It has since merged with GSO Business Management. A native of the Bronx, Braunstein served in World War II before graduating from Pace University, where he took night classes and work. He married his wife Barbara Feldman in 1947. He is survived by his two children, Andrea and William; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Donations may be made to the Jerome and Barbara Braunstein Memorial Fund with the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday at Mount Sinai Memorial in Burbank, California.
