The film, produced by French company Mandarin Cinema, is currently in the official competition at the San Sebastian Film Festival. Ozon is the director of “In the House,” “Swimming Pool” and “Under the Sand.” The film, based on the Ruth Rendell story, centers on a depressed woman, played by Anais Demoustier, whose passion for life is reawakened by a discovery about her friend’s husband (Romain Duris). Variety’s Justin Chang called the film “delectably entertaining” in his Toronto review. CMG acquired the film through Paris-based international sales agency Films Distribution.
