Michelle Ashford (“Masters of Sex”) wrote the script and is exec producing along with Bruckheimer and Bay. Bruckheimer TV’s Jonathan Littman is also exec producing. So are Billy Corben and Alfred Spellman, who are respectively known for directing and producing the 2006 documentary “Cocaine Cowboys” about the Miami drug trade of that era. Bruckheimer TV’s KristieAnne Reed is co-exec producing. Bay is an exec producer on TNT’s “The Last Ship,” which was a ratings win for the network over the summer. Bruckheimer recently partnered with “Awkward” creator Lauren Iungerich on the comedy mystery pilot “Couch Detective” for ABC.
