www.f4wonline.com/more/more-top-stories/96-wwe/38500-notes-on-sony-blu-ray-usage-of-wwe-network-in-europe-Hi Dave Just wanted to inform you of some testing I conducted with the WWE Network international launch. I live in Denmark and have one of the Sony blu-ray devices listed as being supported for my country. Yet even so, the WWE Network isn't in my blu-ray player's app catalogue, even after updating to newest version. Here's the interesting part though: If I spoof my IP address (basically making my device appear to be in the United States), the WWE Network shows up immediately, and it works great. This tells me that WWE hasn't released this software for Sony devices (and possibly Samsung devices too) worldwide despite saying they have. They will need local Sony and Samsung firmwares for all of these countries for it to work without hassle. I informed WWE of the issue two days ago, and have gotten only a vague "check your settings" reply through their facebook wall. Afterwards, I encouraged them to take down the information about availability of these devices internationally until it actually works, but as of today, the information is still up on their site. Just thought it was interesting, and some readers might like to know this before they invest in a Sony device (in Denmark at least, but probably most other countries too if history is any indication). Spoofing the IP address does require some tech-aptitude, so this not working out of the gate internationally is quite a failure for WWE in my estimation. Best regards, Søren Kristensen
