variety.com/2016/tv/news/cbs-limitless-shopped-drama-series-1201777796/CBS isn’t quite finished with its first-season drama “Limitless.” The series is being shopped to cable and digital outlets, CBS exec confirmed on Wednesday as they unveiled the Eye’s 2016-17 lineup. The show won’t be back on CBS but CBS Corp. chief Leslie Moonves confirmed there were conversations afoot to try to find the show a home at another outlet. “Right now we’re in discussions with other potential buyers,” CBS Entertainment chief Glenn Geller said. There had been speculation that it might wind up on CBS All Access, the SVOD service that CBS is looking to beef up with original series. But Moonves said that was not an option. “Limitless,” produced by CBS TV Studios, started out with promise but saw its audience tail off significantly as the season wore on. The drama was based on the 2011 Bradley Cooper starrer of the same name. Cooper is among the exec producers.
