variety.com/2016/tv/news/brad-falchuk-overall-deal-20th-tv-1201707158/ Brad Falchuk Inks New Overall Deal with 20th Century Fox TV “American Horror Story” and “Scream Queens” showrunner and co-creator Brad Falchuk has signed a hefty new multiyear deal with 20th Century Fox Television. The deal represents a significant commitment to Falchuk from the studio, extending his previous three-year deal, inked in October 2013. He’ll continue to serve as showrunner for both “Scream Queens,” set for a second season this fall on Fox, and FX’s “American Horror Story,” recently renewed for a sixth season. He also serves as an executive producer of FX’s “American Crime Story.” Additionally, he will focus on developing new network and cable projects for the studio. “Brad has been an excellent partner to our studio,” said Dana Walden, chair-CEO of the Fox Television Group. “He is a hugely talented writer and director who has been integral to the creation of two of the most iconic and successful shows in recent television history. We love working with him and are very happy that he will continue to call Twentieth Century Fox Television his professional home.” Falchuk’s working relationship with Ryan Murphy dates back to “Nip/Tuck,” for which Falchuk started as a staff writer. He rose to executive producer, and they went on to co-create “Glee,” along with Ian Brennan. The duo then co-created the successful “American Horror Story” franchise in 2011. He is repped by WME and attorney Michael Gendler.
